A selection from a longer record.

Advanced Tissue Sciences, La Jolla, CA, USA

Business development for early reconstructed human skin equivalents, at the point when the field was being invented. Named author on the 1993 paper describing the Skin2 model range.

Sold the first units of a product category that had no regulatory route yet, to laboratories that had to be convinced the science was viable at all.

SkinEthic, Nice, France

Co-developed and scaled reconstructed human tissue platforms as alternatives to animal testing. Led the scientific and commercial positioning that carried the company to its 2004 listing on the Paris market and the 2006 acquisition by L'Oréal.

The technology became Episkin and remains a world leading reference platform.

Henkel, Phenion platform, Düsseldorf, Germany

Skin model technology transfer, industrial scale-up, regulatory validation strategy, and the business plan for the resulting platform.

The platform moved from a research protocol to a production process able to supply external customers at a defined cost per unit.

Bonyf, Ghent, Belgium

Directed scientific development of the NitrAdine platform from preclinical work through clinical validation, and drove product diversification from it. Supervised more than twenty-five clinical studies with academic and clinical partners.

Built the scientific and investor-facing case behind the 2022 Euronext Paris listing.
